  • Sonder Sessions are private group sewing experiences designed for small groups who want to learn together. Each session is customized based on your group’s interests and goals, making it a more personal and flexible experience than a public workshop.

Session length varies depending on the experience and project chosen. Most sessions range from 2–3 hours, but longer sessions may be available upon request.

  • Sonder Sessions are perfect for:

    • Friends or family wanting to learn together

    • Birthday or celebration experiences

    • Creative gatherings or retreats

    • Small groups curious about sewing but unsure where to start

    • Organizations or community groups looking for a hands-on creative activity

No prior sewing experience is required unless otherwise discussed.

  • Sonder Sessions are primarily a traveling service, meaning I come to you.

You provide the space, and I bring the sewing setup. Travel availability and fees vary depending on location. Local sessions are prioritized, and travel outside my local area may include an additional travel fee, which will be discussed during the consultation call.

  • Yes. The host is typically responsible for providing a suitable space for the session. The space should include:

    • Adequate lighting

    • Chairs for all participants

    • Access to electrical outlets

Table can be provided if needed.

In some cases, a space may be provided based on availability. This option is limited and may include a partner location or private studio space. Details will be discussed during the consultation call.

  • The person booking the session acts as the host and is responsible for full payment. A deposit invoice will be sent after the consultation call, and the remaining balance will be due 48hrs before the session.

Other attendees may reimburse the host privately.

  • Because Sonder Sessions require preparation, travel, and reserved time, deposits are nonrefundable. Sessions can be cancelled before the final payment is due 48hrs before the event without additional fees.

This could vary for different scenarios and will be discussed when booking.

  • Each session includes sewing machines, a table if needed, basic sewing tools and supplies, and guided instruction. Project materials may vary and will be discussed in advance.

  • Sonder Sessions are best suited for small, beginner-friendly projects that can be completed or well-started within the session time. Project options may vary based on group size, experience level, and session length.

    Popular beginner-friendly projects include:

    • Tote bags

    • Drawstring bags

    • Pillowcases

    • Bonnets or Scrunchies

    • Alteration lessons

Projects will be discussed during the consultation call to ensure the best experience for your group.
